Beginning these projects:
A fabric birthday banner
A brooch with random recycled old lady D.I. jewelry
Crocheting a sweater for Fin--problem, because I still can't read a pattern
Gorgeous paper butterflies (what would I do with them, though?)
Another crocheted item--and pink, no less
A full-on quilt, if I'm daring enough
This girl's fabulous sense of style, both for herself and her wee girl
If I could dress Fin exactly like she dresses her daughter, I would be a superficially happy mommy.
Re-editing this...
Wanting these things for Finley's someday nursery:
Darling paintings that bring just the right amount of whimsy
Alice in Wonderland dresser knobs
Rabbit clock
Crib sheets (Too many patterns to choose from. Mermaids? Lions? Crayons? Rugrats?)
Vinyl flowers
More owls, like this shelf
Also thinking of:
--The fact that my feet grew half a size with Fin. I bought sneakers, sandals, and boots, so now I have three pairs of shoes that fit me. Woot. Add my three pairs of pants, my eight shirts, and my six pairs of underwear, and I've got quite the wardrobe going on. Getting fat sucks.
--That Mexican couple I saw at D.I. She held up a set of black champagne flutes stenciled with the Cadillac emblem. He said, "Hell yeah! Put them in the cart!"
--I wish Penelope, my last song, would upload. But it won't. So you'll have to wait for the album release.
--Birthday post coming up.
--Same with a list of the horrors of postpartum.

I am now going to say "Hell yeah! Put it in the cart!" whenever anything good happens.
OH MY GOSH, I was totally just going to type the exact same thing that Andy just typed. WORD FOR STINKING WORD.
And then I was going to follow it up with a challenge to teach yourself to oil paint and duplicate the whimsies. :)
