What is Lindsaypalooza, you ask? Well, it's on March 16th, which just happens to be the day I was born, and basically, we do whatever I want whenever we want the whole day. I have to really schedule every minute of this kind of servitude, so here's a few things I'm thinking, plus the requested birthday wish list for me madre.
Breakfast here--quiche, yogurt parfait, the works. Going out for breakfast never seems like it will be fun until we get in the door. Then I always feel like a rich person on a yacht.
If I could really get my way, we'd go to a rec center for some sort of dance-themed aerobics. And Reilly would come. And I'd stand in front so I can watch myself in the mirror.
The night of Lindsaypalooza has painting. In fact, it may have angry, throwing paint on canvases, 90s smart nerdy girl kind of passionate painting. Or maybe just doodling like we do.
I'm also thinking I want to make everyone listen to me sing.
Everyone has to wear these. ALLLLLLL night.
And I want a birthday crown. And I want to wear it in public. And a sash.
At Lindsaypalooza this year I want an essay assignment. And a grade.
We're going to make Crystal attend for the first time, and she has to watch this.
The music has to be Tori. Sorry, Dad. On Jeremypalooza, we can listen to the black cowboy rapper.
We're going to have a Stratego tournament.
New earrings, which I won't be afraid to pull off. And a new hat, since every time I pass one I try it on, wistfully sigh, and go, "Oh, I would never wear that." Well, at Lindsaypalooza, I'll wear it.
I'd like some of these for my room, please.
And this for dinner, which Crystal has to try.
I'd like to start collecting tea sets.
And chess sets. Just some options.
I'd like to eat all I want of this without any why-aren't-you-in-the-circus kind of looks.
Some new things for my vanity.
Some new things for my mind.
And the obligatory "if money were no option" present.
All in all, sounds like it'll be a regular weekend at Lindsay's. But there will be more baby pictures than usual.
