Her bed is ready for her.
Her clothes are washed and put away in her dresser.
Her diapers and wipes are stacked in my closet.
Her first teddy bear is sitting on a pile of blankets in her crib.
Her swing is assembled.
Her baby bag is packed.
Her movements have changed.
Her head slams against my pelvis constantly.
Her family is coming to town for Thanksgiving and to meet her.
We just need her.
Someone warned me that the minute my to-do list would feel finished, she would come. As of tonight, that is me. Pre-birth to-do list=finished. I'm so ready for labor.
