Dear Finley,
Life with you now exists in the form of lists:
Animal sounds you've mastered: Dog, cat, monkey, sheep, turtle, frog, horse, pig, dinosaur, goldfish, bear, duck, and chicken
Tricks you have: Dancing, singing, "cute face," "funny face," jumping, fake sneezing, high fives, and fake farting, flower sniffing, binky chucking
Words you know: "Gunk" (drink), "Bup" (up), "Damma" (Gramma), "Bumpa" (Grandpa), "Nana" (Hannah), "Deek" (Keats), "Memma" (Emma), "Shee-shee" (GiGi), "Papa" (Papa), "Eh-duh" (Ranger), "Bahkkkkkk" (walk), and of course, please and thank you ("Dee?" and "Dah-doo")
Items you can identify: Ears, eyes, hair, cheeks, nose, fingernails, tummy, bum, pits, moon, mailbox, Elmo, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, Gramma's work, pretzels
Ways you make me excited every day about motherhood still: Watching old Disney movies, eating Goldfish, bath splashes, giant teddy bears to cuddle with, chubby spring thighs still showing, your excellent teeth-brushing skills, funny Einstein hair
I love you like Saturn loves his rings.
Love, Mama
