Not this, this I want to buy.
And I don't think I'd be able to make this kimono.
I could probably buy a sweater and copy the little sheep decals and ribbons...
And seams would be crooked if I made this cute little hippie number...

And same with this grey and brown sweet laced thing...
And I want to make shoes. See, I have never had the typical womanly shoe fetish, not for myself. But I realize now why that is--I've been reserving it for my daughter. I LOVE baby shoes! If anyone knows how to make soft-soled baby shoes like these, you have got to let me know where to get a pattern, because I love these...
And these...
And these...
And these...
And these houndstooth. Babies don't need shoes, of course, but since when do we really base baby items off of what babies need?
Of course, I can't forget the Mommy and Me Snuggie...

I don't love a ton of pink for me, but for my daughter, it's a different story... I'm okay with pink. It's not my favorite--I prefer greys, yellows, greens, and lots of earthy tones with bright colors. I'd pick a burlap sack dress for my girl over a frilly lacy pink one any day. But my horizons are broadening... And thank you to those who have already given so generously. This is the cycle of motherhood, I'm learning. You receive graciously and add to your own stockpile... then you pass them along to the next generation of young mothers.
Also saving up for a Baby Bjorn and a My Little Roo coverlet... There's this whole world of baby stuff I never knew about--nursing pads, wipe warmers, bumper pads, oh my!
