This. As I'm working on accepting a new title in my life--mother--I am relishing this book, published in 1963, reminding women everywhere of their CHOICES. My dad would roll his eyes so much they'd stick to the top of his head if he had to read even a chapter of this, but my own mom is a fantastic example of the type of strong woman Betty Friedan wanted to see.
Will I stay at home? Get married? Be a single MILF? Work and be a daycare mommy? Be a traveling hippie mother who is non-traditional in every way?
I don't know. I don't have to know. I have choices. And I can change my mind whenever I want.
