YAYYYYYY!

My book finally came!
COMIC BOOK TATTOO is the fantastic brain child of this man, Neil Gaiman, dear and close friend to my favorite artist, Tori Amos.

Neil was inspired to make this interpretative book incapsulating the first eight albums Tori has made, before the jumping off point that American Doll Posse proved to be for her.

And my breath is taken.

This book takes fifty different songs by Tori, and has eighty different graphic artists interpret the lyrics into short graphic stories. (Graphic meaning comic book style with dialogue and beautiful pictures, not violent or sexual. Duh!)

It's no secret I love Tori's work, identify with her in so many ways, even idolize her into a hero for many areas in my life. This book is just another facet of her genius, a way to translate the sonic beauty she creates into something more tangible--art.

Sorry, I got distracted.
